S Thomas College OBA Melbourne

STC OBA Melbourne Branch

STC OBA Melbourne Branch was the first OBA formed overseas by a group of Old Thomians who migrated to Australia after their primary and secondary studies in S. Thomas’ College in Sri Lanka in early 1960s and 1970s.

The main purpose of the Association is to assist the S. Thomas’ mother schools in Sri Lanka through various financial and non-financial scholarships and activities.

Further this allows the past students of S. Thomas’ College to socialize with fellow Thomians in Melbourne and Australia through varies annual events organised by the Association.

Why S. Thomas’ College? S. Thomas’ College is much more than just a school. It is an institution rich in tradition, characterized by nearly one and a half centuries of hard work, dedication and achievement, all imbibed with the legendary Thomian Spirit. A pioneering institution which has understood and nurtured the very best in youth; where mere boys went in and great men came out to be “men and gentlemen always” men who beat the odds with the legendary “Thomian grit” and gentlemen who up held the motto of the school – Esto Perpetua!*

Please look forward for the 2016 Events Calendar!
